About the Speaker
Stephanie Yuhas has been the brains behind the marketing of Project Twenty1 since the company’s inception in 2006, growing the organization from a mostly-local film contest to Philadelphia’s largest filmmaking competition and one of its top film festivals. Her vision for Project Twenty1′s online network, hosted by “Susie Filmmaker,” helped create one of Philadelphia’s strongest (and most lively!) filmmaking communities.
Her independent films through Cinevore Studios and animations through Shinygrape Studios have been seen by millions of viewers on the front page of YouTube, MySpace, Crackle, College Humor and broadcast on national TV on the Nick Toons network – without paying a single dime for ad placement. Stephanie has created promotional graphics and marketing packages for film clients of all sizes, including Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Video, and pitched award-winning projects to studios like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney.
On occasion, she yells at her fishtank, which is a 55-gallon freshwater aquarium filled with fish named after Uwe Boll movies.
