A casual, open-screen-style event for independent artists, filmmakers, and animators, and the people that love them! Screening includes a networking mixer filled with filmmakers, animators, musicians, talent, and industry professionals, all there to drink, watch films, and meet the artists behind them.
Shorts & Shots will consist of:
Salon des Refusés
Have a short film 15 minutes or less that didn't get into our Philadelphia Filmathon? Bring your film on DVD and your rejection letter, and not only will we screen it, but we'll give you a ticket for a free drink, courtesy of Marathon Grill!
Grab Bag Screen
Everybody: Bring your films, animations, music videos & trailers (under 15 mins) on DVD, throw them in the Grab Bag, and we'll screen 'em all night! Audience will randomly select films from the pile throughout the evening.
Prizes
Top short film of the night, chosen by audience vote, will win over $200 worth of prizes!

Note: This is the least formal and most unpredictably fun event of P21Fest. Please check to make sure your disk works before you come! We are not responsible for glitchy disks, but we'll do the best we can to give you an awesome screening. Viewer discretion advised for potential R-Rated content. Short and visually exciting films are better suited for this event than dialog-driven or heavy dramas, but all are welcome!
