Accommodations
We have a couple of accommodations options for you, our attendees:
Off the bat, we should mention that it is a BUSY weekend in University City, so if you find a great deal somewhere, snag it! Still, here are a couple of awesome deals we’ve found for you this year:
We have worked out a discounted rate with the nearby Homewood Suites by Hilton University City, located at 4109 Walnut St. (only 3 blocks from International House Philadelphia) They are offering PFAF attendees a block of 10 discounted rooms starting at $229/night (regularly $299) if booked before September 19th. The signup link is HERE. After Sept. 19, these rooms get released to the general public, so book quickly!
Another great option we recommend would be our friends at Travel By Simon. Beyond their being supporters of Project Twenty1, we, the festival organizers, have personally used Travel By Simon for booking arrangements in our last several business trips. Simon’s rates BEAT those of online sites like expedia or orbitz (which have hidden fees), and he certainly beats the heck out of their customer service. He is running a group rate for Project Twenty1 and PFAF attendees this year, so we recommend calling or emailing Travel By Simon and telling them Project Twenty1 sent you! We’re sure you’ll get the best options and rates around.
Lastly, we love the Sheraton University City. We don’t have a specific discount rate allocated this year because they’re extremely booked that weekend, but they said they love Project Twenty1 and our community anyway. So here’s the link to the Sheraton University City in case they happen to have ANY availabilities. They are super-convenient, being right next door to our primary screening venue.
