Why Celebrate Earth Hour?

glow-sticks-webAt Project Twenty1, we work hard for our artists and that means dedicating time at each event for filmmakers, actors and crew to network. When the last credits roll and audience members hit the bar, those in the industry break out their business cards and pitch their next projects. Our upcoming Show us Your Shorts screening with FirstGlance Film Festivals will continue to feature networking but this time with an extra special earth friendly twist in honor of Earth Hour.

Earth Hour is an initiatve by the World Wildlife Fund to get people across the globe to spend sixty minutes without electrics lights in an effort to bring about action to reverse climate change. ┬áIn honor of Mother Earth we invite you to participate “glow networking ” after our SUYS screening at Marbar on March 28th. As the lights go down you will have an opportunity to illuminate the room with glowsticks. Don’t worry, we’ve thought of everything: these little guys are non-toxic and your $2 donation pays for them to be recycled! When you’re through networking (or if you’re an audience member just out for the great films) then just glow your way over to the free food and cheap drink specials that Marbar is so kind to provide!
