Project Twenty1: Philadelphia Film & Animation Festival, 21-Day Filmmaking Competition

All Teams must write, shoot, edit, and/or animate a film that incorporates the Element “Between the Lines” within the next 21 days. Judges will be instructed to evaluate films as a whole, but place more emphasis on those with creative incorporation of the Element. The better incorporated the Element, the better chances your film has to win “Best Film of Project Twenty1.”

To answer your first question: NO, nobody NEEDS to say it out loud (although you CAN. We just get that question a lot). It’s up to you!

So, Teams, just ask yourself a few questions:

What does “Between the Lines” mean to you?  Which definition will you use? Or do you want to invent a whole new definition of it?

We’ll find out 21 days from now.

Local Teams can drop off films in person on August 21 by 7 pm to be eligible for awards at The Drop Event, North Bowl, 909 N. 2nd St., Philadelphia, PA 19123. Doors open at 4 pm.

Out-of-area Teams can mail their films to: Project Twenty1, 1203 West Elm Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Films must be postmarked August 21, 2009, 7 pm or earlier. For mail-carriers that do not issue time-stamped postmarks, we need a copy of the receipt indicating the time of shipment.

YOU MUST READ ALL OFFICIAL RULES AND HAND IN ALL OF YOUR OFFICIAL FORMS & WAIVERS BY AUG 21 @ 7 PM OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
