Project Twenty1
Philly’s constantly expanding and contracting film fest market has had some growing pains. But the folks at Project Twenty1 have managed to pull off a constantly expanding repertoire for the fourth year running. Thursday kicks off four days of film screenings, workshops, events and parties with the Philadelphia premiere of the comedy You Might as Well Live, followed by a party at nearby Distrito. Visit the website for the full schedule, but be sure to check out the weekend slate of films made this past summer in the fest’s three-week (or, ahem, 21-day) window—in all, more than 50 flicks, including 30 world premieres. With a schedule this big, perhaps some of the city’s bigger film fests could learn a little something. Jeffrey Barg
