PROJECT TWENTY1 FILM FESTIVAL
NEWSLETTER January 04, 2007
Happy New Year From Project Twenty1!

As we kick off 2007, we figured our first newsletter should contain all the pertinent information you’ve been DYING for all this time: which films are screening on January 24th, and which ones are nominated for Awards!

SCREENING SET FOR “BEST OF” SCREENING – JANUARY 24thGet Your Tickets!

Good news to all our eligible filmmakers: when we thought up the plan for screening the Best Of Project Twenty1 films, we expected we might receive 21 films (potentially 10 minutes each) when all is said and done, and have to pare down the applicants to the best 10 or 12 films for the 2 hour final screening. But good news to all those who made the deadline: ALL 14 of the Project Twenty1 films that met the 8:00pm deadline and were eligible for Awards will be screened on January 24th! Those of you in this category, you probably know who you are, but just in case, we’ll clarify. Here’s the Official Screening List (in alphabetical order):

Lastly, the Winner of the Project Twenty1 raffle for a free DVD is Ryan Leonard! Congrats, Ryan! We will be sending your DVD out to you upon its official release on January 25th. Or, if you’re so inclined, feel free to stop by the Best of Screening on the 24th and pick up your free copy early. To everyone else that entered the raffle, you can still get the DVD, which includes over 3 hours of films & bonus materials, at our online Store. Pre-order before January 24th and get $5 off!

THE FUTURE

Whether you have a film that will be screened, one that is up for Awards, or are simply a film buff, friend, or enthusiast, there is much more left to Project Twenty1. Just because this is our final Screening of the Festival does NOT mean that we are done with these films. In fact, we have already begun talking to other film festivals nationwide to increase exposure and gain additional screenings for our Teams’ films! If you have contacts at another festival or movie house in your region, please feel free to send them our way. We’d love to speak with them!

More from us soon. Thanks for keeping in the loop, and for making our first year so extremely successful thus far. Hope to see you all on the 24th!

Sincerely,

Quang, Stephanie, & Matt
