PROJECT TWENTY1 – NOT JUST A FILM FESTIVAL

NEWSLETTER – November 26th, 2007

FILM-A-THON SUBMISSIONS

The Final Deadline has now passed for the Project Twenty1 Film-A-Thon. We received shorts and features from all over the world: U.S.A, Canada, Spain, Finland, Hungary, and Australia, among many others!  These films cover the gamut of filmmaking and animation, as anticipated, and although we know we said we’d announce the Selected Films in mid-November, we’re going to have to beg for another week or two to work it all out because of the sheer unexpected number of films received!  Our screeners are hard at work, but with so many features to view and so little time, it’s going to take us a tad longer to trim it down.  But on the plus side, with so many entries and so few selections, those of you who show up to the Film-A-Thon on January 5th are bound to be in for one heck of a festival!

Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we announce the Selections and begin promotion of some of these remarkable films!

FILM-A-THON – JANUARY 5th, 2008 – GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!
Thanks to the mutitude of submissions, The Project Twenty1 2008 Film-A-Thon will be an extraordinary International Independent Film Showcase! We’re currently locking down screening times and most importantly, our location for the all-important Wrap Party that night!  However, we can pretty much guarantee that there will be some great films, awesome food, excellent company, and partying (a.k.a. NETWORKING) ’til the wee hours! A full day VIP Pass for this festival, which includes tickets to all screenings and parties, will be only $21. The $21 VIP Pass will get you into all screenings as well as the Reception, Awards Ceremony, and Wrap Party.  Keep in mind, the theater seats 200 or so people, so tickets may well sell out for this event if our Awards Screening last year was any indication, and since we’ll have even more films in this  it may be in your best interests to reserve your VIP tickets now to be sure you aren’t locked out of any of the Events due to space considerations.

If, however, you decide you can’t make a day of it, but really want to see one of the features or a selected screening of shorts, tickets will also be available for individual screenings at $10 each as we get closer to announcing the films being screened.

PROJECT TWENTY1 IN 2008

Thanks to all of you for your continued support!  2008 looks to be an exciting year, and we’re thrilled to be kicking it off with this awesome festival.  So come out, enjoy some films, eat some food, and hang out with some of the most brilliant up-and-coming minds in the film and animation world!  What’s not to love?  See you on January 5th!  Until next update…
