With a heavy heart, we must announce that Project Twenty1’s Competition has been canceled for 2021 due to safety concerns and funding challenges due to COVID-19. This was a decision made by not just the founders, but also the entire board of directors.

We still welcome creatives to share information and resources with one another. We’d love to see people share projects that they’ve created in the past, foster productive conversations about creativity, and come together virtually while we’re all apart.

Project Twenty1 is thrilled and honored to be chosen amongst an incredible group of grantees for 2023! This grant allows Project Twenty1 to serve and nourish our artistic community through film and animation programs and services. We have been delighted to partner with the Cultural Fund for many years to allow us the support needed to continue to provide casting and crewing services, educational podcasts on the world of indie filmmaking, and of course, the 21-Day Filmmaking Competition. Thank you to Mayor Kenny and Philadelphia City Council for believing in us and helping us make Philadelphia a better place to live, work, and create art.
